XNET Device Status Points Reference

In UL/ULC systems, if the imported XNET network includes field devices configured to produce a status message, you must assign the status event category to the status message so as to display an event in Event List.

In the XNET tab of the device objects, select Status as Event Category. You can select Self-Restoring to indicate that no acknowledge or reset is required. This is a step of the network configuration workflow. Refer to Configuring an XNET Fire Network and Configuring a GCNET Fire Network.

NOTE: Use the procedure with caution as the risk is to create an excessive number of state events that are difficult to handle.
