Supported Object Types and Programs

It is recommended that you keep your software installed as a reference in case you need to recreate non-supported object types and programs (such as user accounts and reports) in Desigo CC

Object Types

You can export the following object types associated with an APOGEE field panel or ALN:

Building Level Networks/Automation Level Networks (BLN/ALN). The communication connection between the network trunk and the field panels in a management platform.

BACnet Calendars. Defines a list of dates, such as holidays or special events, for scheduling.

BACnet Commands. An object that writes to a group of object properties through action code(s) inside the Present_Value property. When this writing occurs, the Command object starts a sequence of actions in the BACnet device(s).

BACnet Event Enrollment Classes. The management of events for a BACnet system. Events are changes in the value of any property concerning any object that meets specific criteria.

Events. An activity such as a meeting, weekday schedule, weekend cleaning, or repairs that occur in your building or campus. You can use these activities to create event definitions. An event definition identifies how an activity will affect a set of zones.

Field Panels (Devices). Controls system components and equipment controllers. A field panel samples and processes field data, initiates control actions, communicates with its operators, and generates reports, displays, and warnings.

Field Level Network (FLN) Devices. Building control equipment that resides on the FLN. An FLN is a data communications link that allows information to pass from an FLN device to the BLN/ALN, and from the BLN/ALN to an FLN device.

Graphics. One or more images representing equipment, floors, buildings, facilities and entire campuses. The graphics can contain dynamic elements to represent devices or values you want to monitor and control.

Logical Point Objects:

1

Analog Input (AI)

2

Analog Output (AO)

3

Analog Value (AV)

4

Binary Input (BI)

5

Binary Output (BO)

6

Binary Value (BV)

7

Multi–state Input (MI)

8

Multi–state Output (MO)

9

Multi–state Value (MV)

BACnet Notification Classes. Sends event notifications within a BACnet System.

BACnet Schedules. Acts as a bridge between scheduled times and dates, and the writing of certain values to specific properties and objects concerning the schedule.

BACnet Trend Logs. A property monitor for a specific object. When certain conditions are reached, a log is produced with the property value and a date/time stamp which is placed into a buffer for future retrieval.

Programs

PPCL. A programming language used to write field panel control programs for building control and energy management functions. PPCL consists of various types of statements, each performing a different task. Put together, these statements become ordered instructions called control programs which are executed at the field panel.
