Special Function

PPCL function, such as Alarm Priority (ALMPRI) and Totalized Value (TOTAL), used to access a specific value that is unique to a point. The value of the point can then be tested or assigned to other points. Since special functions are maintained by the system, they cannot be manually commanded to a different value. Special functions cannot be used over the network.
